Translated into stainless steel, these become a bowl of deceptive simplicity where the sculptural form and dazzling surface require no extra embellishment. The bowl makes a striking table centrepiece or can be used to hold fruit or bread.
Helle Damkjær’s travels to Japan lead to her designing the series of Bloom bowls, dishes and spoons for Georg Jensen. The results are a winning combination of natural shapes, Scandinavian minimalism and superb craftsmanship.
