The Story
Reminiscent of a friend waiting for you with their arms outstretched, the open countenance of Marie’s design radiates comfort and protection - an aura underscored in the generously proportioned lounge chair variant, with the same relaxed upholstery in its rear shell, held in place by a graceful steel-tube frame.
This gesture is emphasised in the the spacious lounge version of Marie, the comfort of which is enhanced by an integrated comfort is enhanced by an integrated rocker-tilt mechanism tilt mechanism that is easy to operate using a lever on the side. The armchair is also characterised by the loose upholstery of the backrest shell, which is held in place by a filigree tubular steel bracket. In contrast to the chair, the frame is detached from the the statics of the frame, which is based on a central column with a cross base.
This footstool / ottoman complements the Marie lounge chair.
The frame of the armchair and ottoman is available in all available in all Double Brand colours, while the upholstery as usual, there is a wide selection of textiles fabrics for the upholstery, and personalised can also be customised.
ADAMO + EVA
A cotton velvet is the Original fabric. Adamo + Eva is also fruit of a process which, in seven meticulous steps, takes the utmost advantage of a 2-ply twisted cotton yarn, devoid of flaws or impurities. The loom engages over nine thousand threads, to produce an extremely dense pile. Metal bristles of varying thickness and stiffness brush the velvet to revive it, when it emerges from the dye bath; they separate and raise the pile repeatedly and patiently, while varying intensity and depth. To create the most comfortable and comforting fabric: like a hand gently caressing a lover’s hair.
